copywriter (part-time)

location: remote (approx. 20 hours/week)
department(s): marketing + ecommerce

minnow is looking for a part-time copywriter to help communicate our brand voice across a range of channels. This role is perfect for someone with a clever, creative style who can execute in a fast paced environment. You will work closely with our marketing and ecommerce teams to develop copy to be used in email and text campaigns, website content, new collection releases, social platforms and more.

specific duties/responsibilities:

  • Perfect the brand voice and how it resonates across all brand channels, including email, sms, social, website, digital advertising, catalog, and other channels
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including marketing, creative, ecommerce, and production teams
  • oversee consistency of storytelling as it relates to the brand + product strategies, with synergy across all channels of business 
  • in conjunction with ecommerce team, develop selling oriented product copy and collection descriptions to drive conversion online
  • Have ownership of consistency and accuracy in written grammar, nomenclature, and formatting
  • execute and iterate based on feedback from leadership
  • maintain timelines tied to content and launch calendar, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously


skills & qualifications:

  • Experience working with digital, consumer brands, luxury a plus
  • Passion for creative, clever brand voice
  • Flexibility in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with asana (or similar platform) and managing timelines
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in writing or communications preferred, plus 5+ years in content and/or copywriting
  • Proficient grammar and editing skills
